Dekorlak is designed for coating of wood and wood products such as doors, fences, shutters, garden furniture, pergolas, roof trusses, wood gables, cottages, wall panelling, ceilings and other applications in the interior and exterior. Dekorlak is suitable for application on toys and child furniture pursuant to STN EN -71/3.

It is manufactured in shades as per the current colour chart. The clear varnish is not suitable for application in the exterior.

It is applied by a brush, roller or spraying on a dry, clean surface area. The first coat is applied diluted by water in the ratio of 2:1 to 1:1 according to the absorptivity of wood. Upon drying, the wood is ground and the grinding dust is removed. The second and third coat is applied undiluted in 4-hour intervals. To provide a complex wood preservation, it is recommended to treat the wood with the preservative Krovsan against biotic pests prior to the first coat.
